The empty bin shelving unit is a solid galvanised steel structure designed for storing Picking Box Air or Picking Box Classic bins of size 3 and 3A2. Consisting of galvanised uprights and upper and lower holding shelves, it comes as standard with 20 pairs of runners for housing the open-fronted bins. An effective way to improve safety when extracting materials is to add front stops to the runners. These components block the travel of the bin, thus preventing it from falling when fully extracted. The bin shelving with runners can also be extended horizontally to increase the storage space available to the operator. The stops and the Picking Box Air and Picking Box Classic bins in size 3 and 3A2 must be purchased separately.
