Metal workshop cabinet: hinged, sliding or fitted out

A workshop cabinet is chosen according to how much space there is in front of it, what it needs to hold and who should be able to open it. Fami Perfom series cabinets have a painted sheet-steel body, height-adjustable slotted shelves, a key-operated cylinder lock and a load capacity of up to 800 kg. They are available in widths of 512, 1023, 1428 and 2040 mm and heights of 1000 or 2000 mm.

Hinged doors or sliding doors

The cabinets with hinged doors are the standard choice: when open, they show the entire contents and can be fitted with internal drawers with telescopic extension. They come with solid or louvred doors for air circulation. Prices start at around €280 for the single-door cabinet H 1000 mm. Cabinets with sliding doors are the answer where the aisle is narrow: no door swing, widths up to 2040 mm, also with polycarbonate doors so you can see the contents.

Fitted cabinets: computer, small parts, CNC tools

The computer cabinets protect the computer, monitor and printer at the machine or in the department: base module with drawer, door with polycarbonate window or roller shutter, pull-out keyboard shelf, also on castors. Small parts cabinets integrate 24 to 82 RK Box Air or Picking Box Air bins behind hinged doors: screws and fixings stay visible, organised and locked away. CNC tool cabinets hold 50 to 84 ISO 40, ISO 50 or HSK A63 tool holders for machine tool tapers.

Safety cabinets

Components and accessories

In cabinet components and accessories you will find empty Perfom cabinets to fit out, additional slotted shelves, 100 and 150 mm internal drawers with standard or telescopic extension, internal spill sumps and divider kits. This way, a cabinet bought today can be reconfigured when the stored material changes.

How to read EH dimensions

Many Fami cabinets are specified in EH, the modular drawer unit: 1 EH = 17 mm. A 54x27 EH cabinet therefore has an internal compartment of approximately 918x459 mm; a 64x27 EH approximately 1088x459 mm. This tells you which internal drawers, dividers and trays fit in the cabinet, because the accessories are specified in the same format.
