Why not stack tyres on the floor?
Stacked horizontally, the tyres at the bottom get crushed and those on rims scratch the others; standing upright on the floor they go oval. The rack holds them upright on the tread, in the correct position for storage.
Can tyres on rims be stored?
Yes, tyres mounted on rims stand upright on the beams just like bare tyres. Their greater weight must be taken into account against the load capacity per level shown on the product page.
Does the rack arrive assembled?
No, it arrives unassembled in parcels; it slots together with a few screws and assembly requires two people. The add-on module is assembled in line with the starter module.
