Computer cabinet: the computer at the machine, protected

On the shop floor, a PC is exposed to dust, oil and knocks. The computer cabinet encloses it in a lockable metal body, leaving the monitor visible behind the polycarbonate window and the keyboard on a pull-out shelf. The Standard CS series is the complete cabinet, 1560 mm high, also on castors (807x654x1688 mm) so it can be moved between machines; the Master CS series is modular: base module with drawer, door module with glass or roller shutter, 36x27 EH pull-out shelf with flexible extension. Load capacity from 400 to 500 kg. Prices start at around €275.

The body is the same painted sheet steel as Perfom cabinets: it withstands knocks from trolleys and can be cleaned with a cloth. The drawer in the base module holds the mouse, barcode reader and documents.

What to check

The size of the monitor and PC case relative to the compartment, the position of the sockets and the cable routing, and the keyboard height for those who work standing up. The roller shutter module opens without taking up space at the front; the pallet-truck feet allow the cabinet to be moved while closed.

Completing the workstation

Printers and label printers fit on the adjustable shelf with hooks; for documents and PPE, hinged door cabinets. Bench-mounted monitor arms are among the extendable arms and monitor supports.

Frequently asked questions

What size monitor will fit?

It depends on the door module: the usable width of the compartment is shown on the product page. In general, the 36 EH Master CS compartment (approximately 612 mm usable width) takes monitors up to 24 inches; check the compartment height against the monitor stand.

Is the cabinet ventilated?

The body allows for cable routing and air exchange for the PC case; if the machine operates in hot or dusty environments, consider an additional filter on the air vents. Details are on the base module's product page.

Standard CS or Master CS?

Standard CS is a complete, ready-to-use cabinet, also available on castors. Master CS is built up from modules (base with drawer, door with glass or roller shutter, pull-out shelf) and integrates with Master drawer cabinets of the same width.
