Preset tools should not be left on a bench. The Perfom NC cabinet holds them upright in tool holders that support the taper without touching the cutting edge, behind lockable hinged doors: 84 places for ISO 40, 50 for ISO 50, 60 for HSK A63-B80, in cabinets 1064 mm wide and 2000 mm high, in complete or base versions. Prices start at around €860.
The closed cabinet keeps dust and swarf away from preset tools and shows at a glance which places are empty, and therefore which tools are in the machine.
How to organise it
One cabinet per taper type, so as not to mix ISO 40 and ISO 50. Inside, arrange the tool holders in the same sequence as the machine's tool list, so the tool change can be prepared by taking the places in order. Tools are taken to the machine on Combi NC CNC tool trolleys , which use the same tool holders.
What is the difference between the complete and base versions?
The complete version has all the tool holder shelves fitted and the maximum number of places (for example 84 ISO 40). The base version has fewer shelves fitted and leaves free space for long tools or accessories; the number of places is stated in the name.
Are the tool holders also suitable for long tools?
The tool holder shelves are height-adjustable: they can be spaced further apart for long or large-diameter tools. The usable height between shelves is on the product page.
Is it available for HSK A100 or Capto?
The catalogue includes ISO 40, ISO 50 and HSK A63-B80. For other tapers, request a quote: we will check the available tool holders with Fami.
